Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the Spine-Trauma unit at Mission Hospital. As a CNA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing spine and trauma surgeries.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including turning and positioning patients
  • Collect and process specimens for diagnostic testing
  • Participate in the implementation of nursing care plans and provide patient education
Requirements
  • Current listing with Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
