Pediatric Hematology Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hematology Specialist to join our team at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with bleeding disorders and hemophilia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations, including psychological status.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care, including ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiology studies.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers on current care and preventive health measures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve clinical and system practice performance.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in nursing or a related field.
  • Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization consistent with clinical practice area and patient population.
  • Pediatric hematology provider experience preferred.
