Cardiac Care Specialist

Join our team as a Cardiac Care Specialist at Johns Hopkins Medicine, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric healthcare. This role is integral to our Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology (EP) teams, collaborating closely with EP Cardiologists and Registered Nurses to ensure outstanding patient care throughout interventional and diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in all phases of cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology cases.
- Function effectively in various roles including scrub, circulator, and recorder during procedures.
- Operate advanced equipment within the cath lab to support patient care.

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- An Associate Degree in Health Science, with a focus on cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or ultrasound.
- A minimum of one year of experience in cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology labs is preferred.
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or equivalent credentials.
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications within one year of employment.
This is a full-time position with day shifts. Weekend work and on-call duties are part of the role.
