Job Overview:

This position offers a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus and is designed for individuals seeking a full-time role with immediate benefits. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekends and holidays, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Role Responsibilities:
The Cardiac Monitoring Specialist plays a crucial role in the continuous observation of patient cardiac monitors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing real-time alerts to registered nurses and clinicians regarding any significant changes in cardiac rhythms.
  • Analyzing patient data to identify normal heart rhythm patterns, current deviations, and historical changes.
  • Collaborating effectively within a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, along with completion of a monitor technician course or achieving a passing score of 85% on the competency exam.
  • Experience: Relevant certifications, such as CRAT, must be obtained within one year of employment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in basic computer operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to make swift decisions in high-pressure situations are critical.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
