Job Summary:

You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of patient areas, as well as assisting with the movement of large animal patients and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily care and maintenance of large animals, including feeding, grooming, and walking.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of patient areas, including stalls, treatment areas, and equipment.
  • Assist with the movement of large animal patients and supplies, including operating a variety of motorized equipment.
  • Contribute to a professional, safe, and efficient hospital environment.
  • Effectively manage time and plan daily activities to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Follow Biosecurity protocols and remain knowledgeable about changing requirements.
  • Document stall cleaning status as needed to ensure efficient stall turnover.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Large animal handling experience required.
  • Ability to operate a variety of motorized equipment, including forklift, tractor, and standard dump truck, required.
  • Ability to perform strenuous work and tolerate exposure to weather, chemicals, and allergens required.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Working Conditions:

This is a non-exempt position that requires working a standard day shift, Monday through Friday, with some weekends and holidays. The position is located in Kennett Square, PA, and requires a valid driver's license.
