Veterinary Technician C Position

The University of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician C to join our dynamic team in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. As a key member of our translational research laboratory, you will play a critical role in executing and developing new techniques, generating data, and maintaining day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and organization of translational research laboratory
- Coordination of studies and large animal electrophysiology experiments
- Specimen collection, tissue processing, and histology
- Data analysis and preparation of reports and presentations
- Assistance with writing laboratory operations documentation and performing inventory analysis and supply purchasing
To be successful in this role, you will need an Associate of Science degree and 3-5 years of experience in a research or clinical setting. Strong organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential. Previous experience working with large animals is required.
