About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Water Services Director to join our growth team at Global Water Technology, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base in Industrial Water Treatment applications while managing an existing territory of boiler and cooling water accounts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Expanding the Customer Base: Develop and execute opportunity-based sales processes to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including prospecting, closing deals, and documenting progress in our Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Managing Water Treatment Programs: Conduct regular program audits at established client sites to ensure compliance with industry best practices, including obtaining and testing water samples using field laboratory equipment.
  • Resolving Program Non-Conformances: Troubleshoot problems and implement corrective measures, which may include equipment repairs or chemical dosage adjustments, to ensure optimal program performance.
  • Generating Technical Reports and Proposals: Create professionally written technical reports and proposals that advise on industry best practices for operating mechanical equipment, with a focus on extended equipment life and water and energy savings.
  • Conducting Customer Meetings: Meet with customers to communicate program results, build rapport, and promote customer care of their mechanical systems.

Travel Requirements

This role requires daily travel to customer and prospect sites by company car, with occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

  • A demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a desire to work in a hands-on environment.
  • Previous experience working with customers to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Prior experience in the water treatment or adjacent industry.
  • Proficient in computer use with a solid understanding of MS Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Post-secondary education in Science or Engineering.
