Job Summary

This role provides clinical nursing support to Williamson Health Medical Group by communicating with patients and businesses, scheduling tests and consultations, obtaining clinical specimens, assessing patients, performing clinical office procedures, and maintaining adequate clinical supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately record patients' medical histories and vital signs.
  • Administer immunizations and injections as appropriate.
  • Counsel patients on health-related issues.
  • Order and maintain medications.
  • Coordinate outpatient care with local businesses.
  • Secure consultations and specialists.
  • Triage phone calls.
  • Prepare special drug and care requests.
  • Train new employees within WHMG pulmonary and sleep medicine.
  • Assist physicians with med/surg procedures.
  • Maintain universal precautions.
  • Monitor sample drug closets.
  • Ensure proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
  • Coordinate with local pharmacies to ensure patients have adequate supplies of medication.

Requirements

This position requires a licensed nurse with at least one year of experience in a medical office environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using equipment such as Glucometers, BP cuffs, thermometers, computers, autoclaves, stethoscopes, audioscopes, business phones, and various oral and injectable medications.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
