Key Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand project requirements.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to gather information and assess project scope.
  • Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities that may impact project costs or timelines.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for acoustic ceiling projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, general contractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and accurate information.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, address inquiries, and negotiate terms as needed.
  • Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in estimating and managing commercial ACT projects required.
  • Field experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating and project management software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Procore, Plangrid).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and project management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
