Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator will play a key part in the execution of our projects by delivering timely, high-quality electrical estimates. This role will provide leadership to team members, including Estimators, Estimator Trainees, and others, and lead estimating system training. The ideal candidate will supervise and direct the Estimating team on the timely completion of electrical estimates.
Responsibilities
Create and communicate company standards for estimating electrical design/build and plans and specs work.
May create, maintain, and upgrade the company estimating system, database (units and prices) and assemblies.
Communicate and partner with project managers and general contractors to ensure a high-quality estimate is delivered on time.
Manage quotation process with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that pricing incorporates all scope items.
About You
You bring over seven years of experience in electrical estimating. Your skillset includes proven verbal and written communication skills, and you have an eye for detail ensuring accuracy in the work that you do. You are a collaborative team player; willing to help others, your team, and the organization reach its goals.

Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. High School Diploma or GED required. BA/BS preferred. Seven (7) years of experience required of electrical estimating experience in commercial/industrial/high tech industry. 5 years' experience with a design/build contractor.
