Key Responsibilities- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans and physician orders.
- Documentation: Accurately document medication administration, including any refusals or missed doses, in the resident's medical record.
- Communication: Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate and timely medication updates.
- Medication Management: Maintain accurate medication records, including medication lists, dosages, and administration times.
- Resident Care: Provide high-quality care to residents, including conducting Service and Health Updates, participating in daily Cross Over meetings, and transcribing orders.
- Risk Management: Identify and report any potential safety hazards or concerns to the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse.
- LPN License: Current LPN license in good standing.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Experience: Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
