Job Overview

The LPN Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medication and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner
  • Document medication administration and resident care in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living policies and procedures
  • Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates
  • Transcribe orders and maintain accurate records
  • Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
Qualifications
  • LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • Ability to make choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interest
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
