Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport compressed gas tube trailers and other equipment to various locations.
  • Complete routine reports and shipping/delivery paperwork.
  • Inspect trailers for damage and/or excessive wear and note accordingly.
  • Comply with current DOT regulations.
  • Perform basic maintenance and care of assigned vehicle and/or trailer.
  • Perform regular inspections of all assigned trucks and trailers to ensure that all required safety and preventative maintenance measures have been executed and documented.
  • Assist others in the facility, including stocking shelves with clean, tested, and ready-to-use equipment and pulling, staging, and loading customer orders onto trucks for delivery.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license from the state of residence and valid proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Valid TWIC.
  • Commercial driver's license per requirements of the facility; HAZMAT endorsement.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English (operational, process, safety, and quality instructions).
  • Valid medical card.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Driving experience with tractor-pulling compressed gas tube trailers and/or 40 ft. or longer trailers.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in the care and use of all site-specific, facility, and customer-required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
  • Trained in Respiratory Protection and fully certified to wear respiratory breathing equipment (Fit Tested).
