Role Overview:
The Telecommunications Construction Lead is responsible for guiding field teams to achieve project objectives while maintaining a strong focus on safety. This position also serves as a mentor and resource for team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively lead underground construction teams on projects of varying sizes.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce to meet project timelines.
- Maintain and update project documentation.
- Oversee billing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Communicate project progress and updates to clients.
- Enforce safety protocols across all teams.
- Supervise all facets of project execution.
- Conduct site assessments for project estimates and quality assurance.
- Assess team performance and implement development plans for career growth.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in utility construction leadership.
- Familiarity with change orders and pricing schedules.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and create as-built documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel as necessary for project requirements.
