Job Summary:

Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of care.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies, and instruments, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in surgical technology.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical setting, preferably in an operating room environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
