Tenet-AZ Region is looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our esteemed healthcare team.
Position OverviewThe Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures on patients, adhering to departmental protocols. This role requires a variety of technical examinations that necessitate independent judgment to utilize ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. The technologist will also be responsible for on-call duties as needed and must be proficient in surgical cases and pain management procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct radiographic examinations in compliance with established policies.
- Utilize ionizing radiation effectively for accurate radiologic diagnoses.
- Provide functional supervision to students in the department.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and staff, ensuring clarity in both oral and written instructions.
Minimum Education: Completion of a JRCERT accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Preferred Experience: At least six months of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
Required Certifications: Current American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, Certified Radiology Tech (CRT), and CPR certification.
