Role Responsibilities: Under general supervision, the Housekeeping Associate is responsible for performing a variety of routine semi-skilled cleaning tasks to ensure that all buildings are kept in a sanitized and orderly condition. Key duties include:

  • Providing prompt and courteous service to guests, ensuring that their experiences are exceptional.
  • Thoroughly servicing all stay-over rooms, including changing linens and replenishing towels and amenities as necessary.
  • Meticulously cleaning cabins and guest rooms after each group departs, with a focus on detail.
  • Conducting visual inspections of rooms to confirm cleanliness and readiness for guests.
  • Cleaning bathrooms, including showers, toilets, sinks, and all surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Dusting and vacuuming all areas, ensuring that all trash is emptied and liners replaced.
  • Maintaining an organized and neat housekeeping closet in the assigned area.
  • Signing for room keys and preparing housekeeping carts for daily operations.
  • Responding efficiently to guest requests and maintaining high standards of guest relations.
  • Adhering to safety protocols regarding cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials.
  • Reporting any suspicious activities or hazardous conditions to the appropriate department.
  • Turning in lost items found in guest areas to the designated location.
  • Completing special projects as assigned and maintaining records of daily activities.
  • Assisting with special events as needed.

Qualifications:

Spiritual:

  • Must be a professing Christian, aligned with Timber-Lee Ministries' mission and values.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to a Christian lifestyle and character.
  • Exhibits a sincere love for the Lord and a desire to support others in their faith journey.

Organizational:

  • Supports Timber-Lee Ministries' philosophy and policies.
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality guest experiences.
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Shows a passion for learning and a sense of adventure.

Physical:

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license and the ability to operate various vehicles (preferred).
  • Available for weekday mornings, with occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Capable of performing both indoor and outdoor tasks.
  • Able to navigate the multi-terrain campground in all seasons.

Note: Candidates must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire to be considered for this position.
