Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at EJ Equipment - Southern IL.

  • We are a family-owned and operated dealer of environmental equipment with over 20 years of experience.
  • We work on all make and models of equipment from bumper to bumper.
  • We represent the best-in-class manufacturers of street sweepers, sewer cleaners, refuse trucks, and more.
  • We support local municipalities, state agencies, contractors, commercial haulers, and trucking companies.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.
  • Perform a variety of duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, and office spaces.
  • Operate machinery to clean the showroom floor, dust the entire facility, and maintain multiple bathrooms and kitchen areas.
  • Empty trash and garbage containers.
  • Maintain minor and routine painting, electrical, and other maintenance activities using hand tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer service role.
  • Positive attitude, can-do mentality, and eagerness to improve.
  • Previous maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Diligent work ethic and dedicated approach to performing duties.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
