MR Imaging Scientist Position at UCSF

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a highly qualified MR Imaging Scientist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an independent research program of excellence in MR imaging
  • Conduct research in MR physics and pulse sequence/reconstruction
  • Program pulse sequences on multi-vendor platforms
  • Collaborate with basic scientists and clinical researchers
  • Teach residents, fellows, medical students, and masters students
Requirements:
  • PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • Postgraduate or postdoctoral training and research experience
  • Strong background in MR physics and pulse sequence/reconstruction
