Job Summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled MRI Research Technologist to join our team in the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging. As a Senior MR Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing advanced MR research studies, solving procedural and technical problems, and assisting researchers in analyzing and archiving MR image data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced MR research studies, including injections and safe handling of contrast agents
  • Solve procedural and technical problems as they arise
  • Assist researchers in analyzing and archiving MR image data
  • Help expand successful research programs at the Neuroimaging Technology Research Center (NTRC)
  • Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and peers to achieve maximum radiographic quality
Requirements
  • ARRT approved MRI Certification
  • BLS (CPR) Certification
  • Venipuncture Certification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with high-field magnetic resonance systems
  • Flexibility in scheduling and ability to rotate shifts
