Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients in ambulatory settings, including administering treatments and medications, performing diagnostic tests, and collecting patient health history.
- Collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans of care and implement evidence-based practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and technologies to provide optimal patient care.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (highly preferred) or Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing with a minimum of one year experience and plans to earn a baccalaureate degree.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Emergency room or critical care nursing experience and membership in pertinent professional organizations (preferred).
