Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational aspects of the business, ensuring seamless execution and efficiency.
- Create strategic and operational goals and objectives, aligning with the company's vision.
- Implement systems, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability, driving business growth.
- Oversee operations and inventory control, storage, and trailer management, ensuring optimal utilization.
- Ensure the organization's compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including DOT regulations.
- Examine financial data and budgets, creating financial forecasts to inform business decisions.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Coordinate loads with Drivers/Trucks, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Logistics, with a focus on Transportation Management.
- Proven experience with logistics software, including DAT, PC Miller, load board, and Samsara.
- Deep understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and manage teams.
- Spanish language proficiency required.
