Main Responsibilities:

As a Medical Records Associate at The Floating Hospital, you will be responsible for controlling all functions dealing with health information. This includes scanning reports and medical records into our medical record imaging system, protecting health information, and assisting with legal affairs, subpoenas, court orders, and patient care.

  • Ensure that medical record requests are completed in compliance with HIPAA Federal Law.
  • Ensure the privacy, safety, and security of records, including release of information only to authorized individuals.


Requirements:

Must have a High School Diploma. Two to five years of experience in the Medical Records field. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite, ATHENA, and eClinicalWorks. Bilingual Spanish speaking is preferred. This is an On-Site role. We offer a competitive starting salary and excellent benefit package. EOE.

Salary: $22.50 per hour
