Speech Language Pathology Assistant Opportunity

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join a school district in Anchorage, Alaska. As a key member of the educational team, you will support the implementation of treatment plans and activities under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with SLPs to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Provide one-on-one and small group therapy sessions to students with communication disorders
  • Assist in conducting speech and language screenings and assessments to identify student needs
  • Help prepare therapy materials and maintain equipment to ensure a smooth and effective therapy process
  • Document and track student progress to inform treatment decisions
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other team members to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
