Service Valet Job Description

**Job Summary:**

The Service Valet will be responsible for assisting with vehicle movement, providing shuttle rides, and performing valet pickups and drop-offs while maintaining the dealership's appearance and delivering exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Greet customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional attitude, answer their questions, and direct them to the appropriate person or location.

* Provide shuttle rides and perform valet pick-ups and drop-offs.

* Determine if customers coming into service have an appointment.

* Record customer information, including name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage.

* Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises to maintain traffic flow.

* Drive vehicles to and from service lanes, service stalls, and parking lots as needed.

* Maintain the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks in a clean, organized, and presentable manner.

* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.

* Retrieve customer vehicles at the cashier for pick-up, wait at the vehicle for the customer, and thank customers for their business.

* Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and I.D. tags in all vehicles taken in for service.

* Assist with loaner vehicles and keep the shop clean.

* Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor.

**Requirements:**

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Physical stamina to perform the duties of the job.

**Work Environment:**

* The Service Valet will work in a dealership environment with frequent exposure to vehicles, equipment, and outdoor weather conditions.

* The Service Valet may be required to work in a variety of settings, including the service area, parking lot, and shop.
