Direct Support Provider Opportunity

Prairie Community Services (PCS) - Oakwood is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Provider to join our team. As a Direct Support Provider, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of individuals in our residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide training and assistance to individuals with daily personal cares, medication administration, community activities, money management, meal preparation, laundry assistance, and leisure activities.
  • Monitor and assist individuals with personal cares, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Administer medications and treatments as trained.
  • Communicate concerns, suggestions, and potential problems to supervisors in an accurate, prompt, and respectful manner.
  • Chart daily program information and complete cleaning tasks.
Requirements:
  • Must be 17 years of age or as dictated by licensure.
  • Must pass DHS background clearance.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
