About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Provider to join our team at PCS - Sunwood. As a Direct Support Provider, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily personal cares, medication administration, community activities, and other essential tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assist individuals with personal cares, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Instruct and assist individuals in food preparation, clean-up, and sanitary practices
  • Encourage individuals to engage in leisure activities and promote independence
  • Administer medications and treatments as trained
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Must be 17 years of age or as dictated by licensure
  • Must pass DHS background clearance
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
