As a Subrogation Claims Specialist, you will be part of a team that values diversity and fosters growth in your career.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will manage and assess subrogation claims across various business lines and jurisdictions. Your key responsibilities will include processing payment checks in line with company guidelines, coordinating with collection agencies, and supporting the Claims Recovery Team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage an assigned inventory of subrogation files, ensuring timely recovery.
  • Maintain a monthly diary to track progress and adhere to service expectations.
  • Input recovery data into claims systems to ensure accurate application to claims files.
  • Collaborate with collection agencies to recover funds from responsible parties.
  • Utilize technology and resources for thorough investigations.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Authorize and process payments as necessary.
  • Prepare status reports for clients as required.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience: A minimum of two years in a general office setting or a combination of education and experience is necessary; experience in the claims industry is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
