Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heat Treat Technician to join our team on the graveyard shift. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the heat treatment process of various metal components, ensuring precise temperature control and adherence to strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control furnace operations, ensuring accurate temperature settings and consistent heating cycles.
  • Load and unload heat treatment furnaces, handling materials with care and precision.
  • Inspect parts before and after heat treatment, verifying dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
  • Conduct hardness testing to ensure material properties meet specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of heat treatment processes and results.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a heat treatment setting.
  • Strong understanding of heat treatment processes and principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
