Position Summary:
As an Infrastructure Repair Specialist, your role will involve executing maintenance tasks and various responsibilities associated with routine upkeep of assets. Our specialists are crucial in ensuring that the services rendered align with the high standards expected by our clients while enjoying a fulfilling career in the maintenance sector.
This role requires flexibility in work hours, which may frequently change based on client demands and specific tasks. Employees are expected to adhere to their assigned schedules.
Occasional travel outside the local area is required, with at least 20% of the time spent away. Employees must be prepared to travel and stay overnight as necessary, depending on project requirements. AIMM will provide a per diem for meals during overnight stays and will cover lodging expenses when applicable.

- Storm Drain Repair or Replacement
- Landscape Maintenance: Weed Control and Small Equipment Mowing
- Tree Pruning and Removal
- Roadside Cleanup and Manual Sweeping
- Repairing Non-Paved Shoulders and Roadside Ditches
- Guardrail Maintenance
- Asphalt Restoration
- Sodding
- Installation and Replacement of Delineators
- Sign Maintenance and Installation
- Fence Repair
- Graffiti Removal
- Pipe Rehabilitation
- Traffic Control Management
- Other Routine Maintenance Tasks as Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Availability for full-time work, including emergency callbacks, while maintaining a reliable attendance record.
- Demonstrate knowledge of bridge maintenance principles and practices, showcasing strong leadership and management skills.
- Perform standard maintenance activities using tools and equipment provided by AIMM, while overseeing daily operations as directed by supervisors.
- Comfortable working at heights and near water.
- Comply with all relevant regulations and AIMM policies.
- Follow safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of company vehicles and equipment.
- Manage inventory of materials and equipment.
- Ensure safe driving practices and compliance with traffic laws while operating company vehicles.
- Complete required training within designated timeframes.
- Attend all necessary meetings as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and in a loud environment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to operate company vehicles (CDL not required but preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to complete any required training successfully.
Skills and Competencies:
Familiarity with standard bridge and roadway maintenance practices, including tool usage and equipment operation.
