- Adhere to and coach security procedures, maintaining a secure and safe working environment.
- Check out the close from the night before, ensuring that all kitchen equipment and facilities are clean and ready for the next day's service.
- Review inventory on a daily basis, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available.
- Prepare to receive orders, ensuring that all necessary preparations are made and that the kitchen is ready to receive orders.
- Keep track of self-life adherence, ensuring that all food is stored and handled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Check temperatures on freezer, dish machine, and refrigeration units before prepping, ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Knowledge of the flavor profile and specifications of menu items, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
- Follow recipe cards with no compromise, ensuring that all dishes are prepared consistently and to the highest standard.
