About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced nursing professional to join our team as an adjunct faculty member. As a clinical instructor in nursing, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching nursing curriculum to assigned student groups using our concept-based curriculum and evidence-based teaching practices within the framework of our nursing program's stated mission. This includes:

  • Developing and delivering engaging and effective teaching methods
  • Assessing student learning and providing feedback
  • Participating in college and nursing program assessment processes
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university, or a baccalaureate degree in nursing with a master's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in the practice of nursing
  • Current clinical experience of at least two years in the clinical subject area assigned to teach
  • Expertise in one of the following areas: medical-surgical, maternal-child, pediatrics, mental health nursing, critical care, or long-term care
