Role Overview: As an Automotive Glass Repair Trainee, you will embody our mission to create a positive impact and bring joy to our customers' daily lives. We will equip you with the skills necessary to install and repair auto glass, recalibrate vehicle safety systems, and deliver service that leaves a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive comprehensive training through a combination of paid hands-on experience and classroom instruction.
• Learn to install and repair auto glass while recalibrating automotive safety systems.
• Offer additional services and products to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and utilize company-issued tools throughout your workday.
• Prepare for your advancement to a Safelite-certified Technician by testing your knowledge of installations and embracing a positive attitude.

What We Offer:

• Competitive pay starting at $24 per hour, with potential increases to $27 per hour upon successful training completion.
• Opportunities for promotion within your first year to Senior Technician or Master Technician, with pay increases up to $34 per hour based on performance metrics.
• Paid training along with all necessary tools and resources for your success.
• A $5 bonus for each set of wiper blades added for customer safety.
• Additional paid time off through a program allowing you to buy or sell unused time, up to 16 hours.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexible with start and end times to meet customer needs while adhering to scheduled days.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred; must be able to read and write.
