Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at Knife River Corp. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for administering awarded project contracts, analyzing blueprints and specifications, and planning and directing project activities to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer awarded project contracts, including analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals to determine project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure goals and objectives are met within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
  • Establish work plans, staffing, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with project staff, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to provide technical advice, resolve problems, and provide market-leading customer service.
  • Analyze data to determine material and labor requirements, prepare itemized lists, and consult with clients and vendors to provide cost factors and formulate estimates.
  • Administer negotiated contracts, coordinate proposals, and track contract performance.
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve situations, monitor and discuss production problems with coworkers and managers/supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, MSHA, DNR, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on approach to work required with results orientation.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office, experience in HCSS preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record under Company policy.

Working Conditions:

Typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Some travel may be required.
