Position Overview: As a Retail Operations Leader at Lids, you will be at the forefront of our brand, embodying the spirit of our company. Your role will involve cultivating a passion for sports and fashion goods by addressing customer needs while ensuring all aspects of the store are actively engaged.

Key Responsibilities:
People & Training Development:
- Oversee the store's recruitment strategy, including planning, turnover projections, and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with the market's Authorized Trainer to facilitate the integration of new team members.
- Foster a vibrant and productive work environment, helping team members understand their contributions to the store's success.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage team member information effectively.
- Drive ongoing training initiatives to support team development and operational excellence.

Customer Experience:
- Implement strategies to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Address customer feedback promptly, ensuring resolutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
- Guide in-store team members to provide exceptional service that respects customers' time and needs.

Operations Management:
- Ensure compliance with scheduling and payroll processes in alignment with company policies.
- Strategically manage the store schedule, considering team member qualifications and availability.
- Maintain operational continuity and manage any disruptions effectively.
- Uphold safety standards and manage store technology and equipment through regular audits.

Product & Inventory Management:
- Direct the store's product strategy, overseeing receiving, processing, and merchandising.
- Organize the backroom efficiently to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to vendor-specific regulations and manage inventory accuracy.
- Execute visual merchandising strategies to maintain the store's aesthetic appeal.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of post-secondary education and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven ability to drive sales results while minimizing losses.
- Strong supervisory skills with a capacity to deliver training and assess retention.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in computer operations and relevant software programs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel for training and business meetings as needed.
