Key Responsibilities
  • Transport Goods Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods along the East Coast, covering states such as Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
  • Adhere to Regulations: Comply with all federal and state laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct Vehicle Inspections: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely delivery of freight.
  • Manage Time Efficiently: Manage time to meet delivery schedules and minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL: Possess a valid Class A CDL.
  • Recent Driving Experience: Have a minimum of 6 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
  • DOT Physical and Drug Screen: Be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with DOT Regulations: Have familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance.
