Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble and reassemble components and accessories on large drilling and foundation piling machinery, including hydraulic cylinders, hoses, pumps, and electrical systems, using hand and power tools. Welding and fabrication skills for repairing steel components are advantageous.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations of mechanical and electrical systems to identify potential issues.
  • Document service reports, research parts, and complete necessary requisition paperwork.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on drilling and pile driving equipment within designated timeframes.
  • Execute repairs on rental fleet machinery, focusing on hydraulic systems, motors, and controls.
  • Safely and efficiently disassemble and reassemble equipment for inspections and repairs.
  • Complete inspection sheets for rental equipment check-in and check-out processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment.
  • May conduct minor repairs at job sites.
  • Promptly inform the Service Manager of any suspected customer damage and complete quality control tags during equipment inspections.
  • Experience with heavy construction machinery, particularly in electronics, hydraulics, and power trains, is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED along with Vocational Certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience is necessary.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for job sites as required.
  • Must possess hand tools necessary for the tasks outlined.
  • A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
