Your Role:

We are seeking a skilled veterinary technician to enhance our Anesthesia Department. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience in monitoring anesthesia for both critical and non-critical cases.

Qualifications:

  • Current CVT/LVT/RVT certification or equivalent education is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Midshift: Wednesday through Saturday, 2 PM - 12 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of small animal medicine, including pharmacology, proper restraint, venipuncture, and laboratory testing.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and disease processes.
  • Manage anesthesia procedures: induction, monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery of patients.
  • Collaborate with board-certified anesthesiologists.
  • Position and capture radiographs as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize Fear Free handling techniques to ensure safe and stress-free interactions.
