Your Role:
We are seeking a skilled veterinary technician to enhance our Anesthesia Department. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience in monitoring anesthesia for both critical and non-critical cases.
Qualifications:
- Current CVT/LVT/RVT certification or equivalent education is preferred.
Work Schedule:
Midshift: Wednesday through Saturday, 2 PM - 12 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of small animal medicine, including pharmacology, proper restraint, venipuncture, and laboratory testing.
- Possess thorough knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and disease processes.
- Manage anesthesia procedures: induction, monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery of patients.
- Collaborate with board-certified anesthesiologists.
- Position and capture radiographs as needed.
- Effectively communicate with clients and team members, both verbally and in writing.
- Exhibit attention to detail and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize Fear Free handling techniques to ensure safe and stress-free interactions.
