Position Overview

We are seeking skilled and innovative Seasonal Utility Players for our clinics who embody our core values: Passion, Humility, Adaptability, Nurture, and Experience. Ideal candidates are typically Certified Medical Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurses who exemplify teamwork. The Utility Player role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including front desk operations, back-office care, triaging, radiology, and lab duties, all essential for the smooth functioning of our clinics. Work Environment and Team Dynamics

Our clinicians are supported by a dedicated Clinical Operations team that collaborates closely with clinics on inventory management, continuing education, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Include:

  • Triage patients upon arrival and assess their needs
  • Communicate patient readiness to the provider, summarizing symptoms and vital signs
  • Document patient visits accurately in the EMR system
  • Assist providers with procedures and patient care, including vaccinations and lab work
  • Administer medications as directed by the provider
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam and treatment rooms
  • Manage lab results and provide follow-up communication to patients
  • Educate patients at the conclusion of their visit and address any questions
  • Perform front office tasks, including patient registration and insurance verification
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Genuine passion for pediatric care
  • Experience in a pediatric office, hospital, or urgent care setting within the last three years
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA)
  • Current LVN license in Texas
  • BLS certification required
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and basic clinical procedures
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
