We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Associate to join our team at Comprehensive Healthcare. As a Behavioral Health Associate, you will play a vital role in providing care, support, and a safe living environment for individuals residing in our 24-hour inpatient and residential facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Engage clients in therapeutic activities and promote their overall well-being
- Accompany clients to appointments, community events, and outings to support their socialization and integration
- Collaborate with clients' families, natural supports, and community healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide coaching and supportive counseling in group and individual settings to help clients achieve their goals
- Monitor medication self-administration, symptoms, and medication response to ensure clients' safety and well-being
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to facility-specific standards
- Complete required documentation to reflect clients' activities, goals, and progress
- Ensure the safety of yourself, other staff, and clients by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a related field is preferred
- Must be willing to comply with N95 respirator requirements and remove facial hair for initial fit testing and throughout employment
- Must be eligible for registration as an Agency Affiliated Counselor
- Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide documentation upon hire or be approved for a qualified medical or religious exemption
