Position Overview:

This pivotal quality assurance role will oversee the development of site Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, their implementation, training, and adherence. The individual will collaborate with various teams to meet customer expectations while expediting technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafts and disseminates new QMS policies and procedures, including revisions to existing protocols and training for the organization.
  • Designs, modifies, implements, and sustains quality assessment and control systems and protocols.
  • Facilitates site AS9100 certification initiatives, leads internal audits, and supports compliance with external specifications. Works collaboratively to ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Collaborates with design specifications to create testing plans, methodologies, and equipment to ensure product reliability.
  • Ensures that projects and process control documents align with requirements, objectives, and contracts.
  • Assists in advancing Manufacturing Readiness Levels for both manufacturing and inspection processes.
  • Identifies and mitigates risks in product development, primarily through the Production Part Approval Process (PAPP) core elements such as PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, and Control Plans. Develops and implements proactive quality strategies.
  • Conducts escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective actions.
  • Works with design engineering to enhance the manufacturability of ceramic matrix composite components.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of inspection technologies or methodologies to ensure product compliance.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) from an accredited institution.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.
  • This position necessitates advanced knowledge of Quality Management Systems acquired through education and experience. Familiarity with Raytheon Technologies Quality Management Systems is highly advantageous.
  • Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Manager of Quality (CMQ), Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt certification.
  • Experience with Raytheon Technologies quality systems and specifications.

Compensation for this role ranges from 105,000 USD to 221,000 USD, reflecting a good faith estimate across various experience levels. Raytheon Technologies considers multiple factors when extending an offer, including role responsibilities, candidate experience, location, education, and key skills.

Successful candidates may be eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) matching, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance programs, and paid time off.
