Role Summary: Reporting to the Quality Director, the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will play a crucial role in facilitating and coordinating activities within the Quality Department to uphold our Quality Management System, enhance Customer Satisfaction, drive cost efficiency, and promote continuous improvement.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and evaluate the performance of suppliers and subcontractors as necessary.
  • Assist in the implementation and execution of the Quality Management System and internal audits.
  • Serve as the Quality representative in product innovation processes as directed by the Quality Department Manager.
  • Oversee calibration and preventive maintenance of measurement devices across all Nice locations.
  • Perform failure analysis on returned products.
  • Contribute to Non-Quality Cost/Returns reporting.
  • Support the Nice Warehouse and Value-Added Services center with work instructions and process definitions.
  • Monitor overdue training and assist in the release/update of Quality documents within the Document Control System.
  • Assist with First Article Inspection.
  • Facilitate coordination and follow-up of the CAPA/SCAR process.
  • Manage the disposition of Non-conformance Materials.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing setting.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing context.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with other Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical capabilities to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Knowledge of Lean-Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated time management proficiency.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude with a strong desire to succeed.
