We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Aramark. As the head of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary activities, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities- Train and lead kitchen personnel to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities, including food ordering and inventory management.
- Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food to meet the needs of our guests.
- Select and develop recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
- Establish presentation techniques and quality standards, and plan and price menus to meet the needs of our guests.
- Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance, and ensure proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
- Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques.
- Requires at least 2-3 years of experience in a related position.
- Requires at least 2-3 years of post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree.
- Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession.
- Requires experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems.
- Requires verbal, reading, and written communication skills.
