About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain aseptic surgical fields, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull with 30 pounds of force.
