As a Senior Banking Associate, you will guide and mentor Tellers in delivering exceptional customer service while supervising interactions that promote PNC's financial products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor Tellers to create a distinctive customer experience that enhances financial wellbeing and fosters loyalty, while increasing customer engagement. Manage a variety of customer interactions and educate them on available financial solutions.
  • Support Tellers in recognizing opportunities through meaningful dialogues with customers, facilitating appropriate referrals to branch personnel or PNC partners.
  • Encourage Tellers to engage with customers in the lobby, promoting PNC products and educating them on financial transaction management through innovative technology.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing performance evaluations and the recruitment process for new team members.
  • Ensure adherence to all operational policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment and ensuring efficient and accurate completion of teller and branch transactions.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience for this role. Below are the required competencies and experiences:

Competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Needs Assessment, Coaching Skills, Digital Literacy, Effective Communication, Fraud Prevention, Multi-tasking, Problem Solving, Customer Insight.
Experience: Typically requires 1+ years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but a combination of education and experience may be considered.
Education: No formal degree required.
Certifications: None required.
Licenses: None required.
