Business Analyst

The Business Analyst possesses a comprehensive understanding of organizational processes, coupled with extensive knowledge of how data and technology can be strategically utilized to enhance these processes. Successful analysts will identify business challenges and opportunities, articulating requirements that engineering and quality assurance teams can implement effectively and without ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Documenting comprehensive end-to-end processes that impact all stakeholders, both internal and external, throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of business and application domains within an assigned portfolio to effectively assess the balance between business requirements and user expectations.
  • Collaborating within a delivery team at all levels, engaging stakeholders while demonstrating the ability to take ownership of tasks and execute them with minimal supervision.
  • Ensuring that requirements are articulated clearly for the intended audience, remaining understandable, unambiguous, and implementable.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on whether requirements have been fulfilled in terms of delivered functionality prior to customer release.
  • Facilitating User Acceptance Testing in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Participating in defect triage, data analysis, and product request evaluations.
  • Working alongside product development teams and stakeholders to assist with training, documentation, production readiness, and product launches.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of business functionalities and technical platforms as they evolve.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Demonstrated expertise in business analysis methodologies.
  • Proven ability to become a subject matter expert in the relevant product area.
  • Understanding stakeholder requirements and translating them into appropriate deliverables within an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Experience in delivering business analysis and functional documentation, including Use Cases, User Stories, Requirements Definitions, Process Definitions, and Workflows.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Business Requirements Analysis methodologies, industry best practices, and tools.
  • Preferred experience in lean and/or six sigma methodologies; CSSGB or CSSBB certification is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and quality.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
