About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematical Game Developer to join our team at Bluberi Gaming USA Inc. as a Mathematician III. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of entertaining land-based slot machines and contribute to the creation of fresh game content and iteration of current gameplay formulas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Math Model Development
    • Develop math models for different markets, including Class III, Class II, and Lottery, and review outcomes for all game-specific metrics to ensure parity of model and game experience across different markets.
    • Guide proper implementation of math into game builds and systems through clear documentation and discussions.
  • Mathematical Analysis and Simulation
    • Develop in-house simulations and theoretical calculations to support game development.
    • Evaluate math outcomes, scripts, and proofs for games at any stage of conception and development.
  • Game Design and Collaboration
    • Participate in game design efforts for complex games and contribute to the creation of math proofs early in design to validate feasibility.
    • Evaluate game design to ensure all points (features, frequencies, etc.) are cohesive with an exciting math model given system, mathematical, and jurisdictional restraints.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and artists, to ensure seamless integration of math into game builds and systems.
    • Participate in strategic planning to expand tool capabilities and define functional requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics or relevant experience in lieu.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and application of Combinatorics, Probability Theory, and Statistics.
    • 5+ years' experience with game development.
  • Technical Skills
    • Advanced knowledge of the casino gaming industry.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with C#, WPF, and.Net Core/.Net.
    • Competent with version control systems, such as Git and SVN.
  • Soft Skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong people skills and ability to work well with creative conflict in a consensus-based, collaborative environment.
