Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Orthopedic Surgery Unit at Rochester General Hospital. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacement, spinal surgery, and upper extremity surgery.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, using computerized medical records.
  • Prepare clinical areas and exam rooms for patient care, ensuring proper supplies and equipment are available.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in New York State.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
