Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team at MAB Community Services. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in our cluster homes, promoting their personal growth and community membership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to participants in cluster homes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans, promoting participants' independence and community involvement.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Coordinator and other team members to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Manage challenging situations, facilitate problem-solving, and provide positive behavioral supports.
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and adhere to MAB's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree and/or related experience preferred.
  • Valid MA driver's license and ability to drive program vehicles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, and community professionals.
  • Comfort with computers and ability to learn new reporting software.
Work Schedule

Saturday/Sunday 9p-9a, Monday 11p-9a
