Job Summary

Tata Technologies is seeking a highly skilled SAP APO Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale SAP APO implementations, ensuring that our clients' business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop a traceability matrix.
  • Design and implement robust solutions to meet long-term business objectives.
  • Manage and resolve cross-programme solution issues with stakeholders and partners.
  • Advise on standard SAP best practices for warehouse management.
  • Prepare and present recommended designs to the Solution Design Authority.
  • Assess the impact of solution design changes on the programme.
  • Prepare GAP lists for development work and ensure adequate justification for development over standard SAP functionality.
  • Guide the process team in analysis and decomposition of current business processes, scripting exercises, and designing and configuring the EWM system.
  • Conduct workshops and presentations to validate business design with the end-user community.
  • Work with team leads and project managers to analyze and decompose current deliverables, business processes, and design and configure SAP systems.
  • Plan and deliver the execution of system unit, integration, and performance testing.
  • Support cutover activities and deployments.
  • Support all aspects of UAT.
  • Support end-user training sessions.
  • Assist with handover to Production and knowledge transfer to customer and internal Support teams.
  • Work on-site at customer locations in accordance with their policies and requirements.
  • Ensure suitable communication and updates are provided to internal and external clients in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of SAP IS-AUTO APO and PP.
  • Good experience of SAP APO and integration with R3 PP and costing/finance areas.
  • Complex Variant Configuration and BoM experience, including iPPE.
  • Manufacturing experience, including Make to Order, Make to Stock, Engineer to Order, Knock Down Kits, Automotive assembly plant, and inbound supply chain experience.

Full Lifecycle Experience

  • Hands-on experience in IS-AUTO (FLO, ACT, PVS).
  • Planning in ECC w.r.t. APO Planning.
  • Error handling in CIF.
  • Hands-on experience in PPDS, Sequencing, MMP Set-up, Control Cycle Set-up, Rapid Planning Matrix, Restriction Planning.
  • EWM system integration with APO (Advanced Planning and Optimizing).
  • Experience of defining and resourcing support teams.
  • Excellent communications skills and proven ability to manage/balance senior stakeholder interests.
